The theme for the conference is “Environment, social Security and Resilience: The Sustainable Solutions. The conference organized by the Nigerian Environmental Society is an Annual General Meeting which sees the coming together of chapter chairmen and members, Environmental Experts, Students in secondary and Tertiary institutions, Government Agencies and delegations from private sectors.

It is an event which fosters Education, innovations, special interactions amongst members across Nigeria and in UK. It also includes collaboration and cooperation which helps to tackle some Environmental challenges in the Society, in Addition, so many Environmental and Technical Expert also came to established their valuable research during the Technical sessions of the conference.

The sustainable development solutions are strategies, actions, and approaches that aim to address the challenges of sustainable development. These solutions are designed to promote economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection in a balanced and integrated manner.

The special awards were given to several dignitaries like Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Senator Yunus, special Assistant to the secretary of the Federal government, Director General NESREA and NOSDRA among many others.

The NES national President appreciated them for honoring the invitation and also pledges their continuous support and collaboration going forward.
